Role*
The Corporate Development Analyst will be responsible for a variety of projects. The candidate will have strong quantitative and qualitative abilities that provide input in supporting the development of recommendations for Senior Management. Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Development, the candidate must possess strong communication; analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work independently in ambiguous situations.*
Key Responsibilities: *M&A and Due Diligence Support

  • Assist with financial analysis, modeling and valuation of potential acquisition targets
  • Co-ordinate and collaborate with Business Integration Team to perform due diligence activities
  • Assist with preparation of presentation materials
Business Development Analysis
  • Proactively source and/or execute initial analysis of potential strategic alliances and partnerships
  • Assist with the development of business cases and plans for new opportunities
Market Research
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support corporate strategy (e.g., competitive position, product assessments, market sizing, etc.)
  • Scan various sources (e.g., news releases, journals, industry publications, etc.) to identify, track and monitor market, competitive and regulatory trends
  • Perform interviews with internal and external parties to gather information and develop insights
Other Responsibilities
  • Present key insights and recommendations based on research and data analysis
  • Develop familiarity with internal systems and drive projects forward by managing internal stakeholders, developing output materials and presenting key deliverables
  • Gather relevant data from various internal and external sources
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Working towards Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Math or related field
  • Excellent analytical, modeling and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and maturity to interact with Senior Executives
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
