The Company Our client is a prominent market leader in real estate investment company with porfolios spanning across APAC region, publicly listed on Asia stock exchanges.
The Role This individual will report to the Finance Director in Singapore. This role will support long-range business planning and financial modelling for the Group, assist in business monitoring, review of analysts\xe2\x80\x99 reports, update of consensus workings, competitors benchmarking and adhoc corporate projects. The individual is expected to work and collaborate with various stakeholders, including external and internal parties.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the group wide financial model , including the tracking of business performance against annual budget and the long-range business plan.
- Update financial model for evaluation of corporate investments and to perform scenario analysis to assist prioritization of M&A deals , which could include developing/ review of asset level financial models and working with the regional teams/ business units to evaluate potential transactions from strategic and operational perspectives.
- Work closely with major stakeholders and external advisors on corporate transactions which will include undertaking feasibility studies, due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring and negotiations as well as managing transaction documentation.
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations.
- Work with Investor Relations and other relevant stakeholders to review analysts\xe2\x80\x99 reports and update of consensus workings.
- Perform competitors benchmarking and provide regular update to relevant stakeholders including senior management.
- Design, develop and maintain the Group M&A framework, including SOP, modelling templates and investment review metrics to assist senior management in decision making.
- Participate or lead in adhoc projects as required.
- Competent in financial modelling and knowledge of deal structuring with at least 3 years (for Analyst) and 5 years (for Manager) of track record in deal support/ corporate finance environment.
- Financial modelling experience at the enterprise level for corporate investments and fundamental understanding of logistics real estate investments are highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Team player with good communication skills and comfortable with being an independent contributor.
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks, with frequent priority changes.
- Aptitude for constant improvement, learning, and managing changes and uncertainties.
- Willingness to travel as required.
