Corporate & Investment Banking Sales & Marketing professionals help corporate and institutional clients navigate the breadth of the J.P. Morgan\'s product offerings across Markets and Investor Services. The teams focus on matching the firm\'s resources to our clients\' needs. We do that through our traditional sales force that is organized by product, sector and geography, as well as through our e-Sales professionals who are spearheading the build out of our electronic offering, including the development of J.P. Morgan Markets.

As a Vice President in eSales you will be responsible for the coverage of a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, corporations, etc) across OTC and listed asset classes in Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC). You will work closely with our global partners in electronic sales, electronic trading, voice sales, and product managers to provide comprehensive client coverage, fulfilling client queries and requests for their electronic execution needs while channeling client feedback to improve our franchise in terms of pricing and product. You will need to demonstrate proficiency in identifying new client opportunities and electronic execution trends while showing a high degree of interest in learning about other products and developing a cross-product skill set. The ideal candidate has a strong intellectual curiosity, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership of the sales process: prospecting, negotiating commercial terms, coordinating across functional teams and businesses, delivering best-fit solutions, bringing clients live, and maintaining ongoing dialogue to grow and maintain relationships.
  • Driving growth through origination, focusing on clients trading FICC OTC and listed derivatives markets while managing existing client relationships and developing new ones by leveraging our best-in-class offering
  • Identify new prospective clients to sell our electronic trading capabilities including market access, platforms and algorithmic trading
  • Keeping a pulse on the market, anticipating client needs and recognizing opportunities to deliver the firm
  • Understanding, analyzing and optimizing profitability metrics at the client level, conducting regular reviews with clients
  • Leveraging client and industry intel to effectively communicate product requirements to business and technology partners
  • Partnering and collaborating with colleagues across Markets & Prime Services to maximize revenue opportunities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years\' experience in relevant banking/financial services industries
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Deep knowledge of e-trading landscape, FICC OTC and listed derivatives markets, vendor solutions and participants.
  • Demonstrable understanding of algorithmic execution strategies, benchmarks, objectives and practical use.
  • Prior experience in sales/trading, electronic markets at a top tier bank or buy-side institution a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis (Tableau and Qlikview), Bloomberg, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of electronic execution platforms (Bloomberg, FXALL, Flextrade, 360T, BidFX, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, Trading Technologies, Neovest, CQG,...etc)
