As an Associate in the Singapore Corporate Sales team you will be responsible for maintaining and developing key MNC client relationships, including day-to-day execution of FX, FXO and Rates (flow and structured) products.

Job Responsibilities:

You will need to demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities while having a sound grasp the business, balance sheet, credit and financial risk management of multi-national corporate clients.

You will be expected to drive client revenue growth focusing on MNC Regional Treasury Centers in Singapore - developing client account strategies to deepen existing client wallets as well as prospecting new clients for business across Asia.

This will require a collaborative approach working with our business partners in sales, trading, research, and banking to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform including providing clients with trade ideas and market intelligence.

The ideal candidate should be a team player with a strong intellectual curiosity and a high degree organization with the ability to see the big picture and maintain the attention to detail, under high pressure situations with the appropriate degree of urgency and integrity.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales in an investment banking environment
  • Developed and established relationships with Multi-National Corporates & Regional Treasury Centers across all industry sectors
  • Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge; FX, FXO and Rates (flow and structured) and Asian market structure
  • Sound understanding of Asian restricted markets (onshore regulations) and curves across FX & Rates
  • Critical thinker and driver of trade ideas and themes for clients
  • Strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player that partners well within the immediate team and with key external stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills :
  • As this role will interact with Mandarin-speaking clients, fluent business-level spoken and written Mandarin is preferred
