Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Spearhead long-term corporate strategies for Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with headquarters' objectives.


2. Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement actionable initiatives across Southeast Asia and Japan.


3. Deliver strategic insights on industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging R&D opportunities to influence leadership decisions.


4. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership with recommendations for performance optimization and course correction.


5. Analyze financial and performance metrics (current and historical) to support data-driven decision-making.


6. Facilitate seamless communication between Japanese HQ and regional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.


7. Maintain transparent reporting and information-sharing practices (Ho-Ren-So).


8. Monitor project progress, financial performance, and KPIs to ensure objectives are met.


9. Ensure clarity and consistency in project execution across all stakeholders.

1. Market expertise in Southeast Asia's economic, social, and cultural dynamics.


2. Strong analytical ability in market research, competitive analysis, and financial/data-driven decision-making.


3. Excellent teamwork & leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.


4. Entrepreneurial spirit: proactive, decisive, results-driven.


5. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability across SEA markets.


6. Language proficiency: English and Japanese (spoken & written).

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, or related field.


2. Relevant working experience in Southeast Asia and/or Japanese companies.


3. Exposure to tech startups or innovative industries (advantage).


4. Proven track record of coordinating with headquarters and strengthening internal controls.
