The Business Area South East Asia (BASEA) CVP oversee and facilitate the operations of Novo Nordisk in the South East Asia region with a total of 11 countries. The Business Area plays a crucial role in driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic conditions such as obesity, rare blood and endocrine disorders. The BASEA office is located in both Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore. As a CVP Assistant you will be in charge of providing comprehensive administrative support to the CVP and Senior Director of Finance & Operations. Your key tasks will include:

  • Efficiently manage calendars, oversee comprehensive travel logistics, and facilitate communication with Regions/Business Area/affiliates regarding trip agendas and host visitors within the BASEA region.
  • Facilitate all management meetings, including logistics, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements, while also organizing social events as requested by the CVP; anticipate and exceed internal and external customer needs within organizational guidelines; foster teamwork and assist in problem resolution; and maintain professionalism, strict confidentiality, and discretion with confidential documents.
  • Collaborate with other assistants and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and task execution within the BASEA Management Team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on CVP\'s participation in events or meetings and provide support for ad-hoc tasks as directed by the CVP.
  • Support in preparing expense reimbursements, ensuring timely submission to relevant approvers, arrange and oversee signatures on correspondence and corporate documents.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper to ensure documents requiring signatures are organized and clear, with legal documents vetted by L&C before the CVP\'s signature.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a MNC in a regional role having reported to senior management.
  • Minimum 10 years\' experience working in a fast paced, international environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • With Diploma in Business Studies or Private Secretarial Course.
  • A high-performing individual capable of working independently while maintaining strict confidentiality, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset, with strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Possessing advanced proficiency in IT tools including Word, PowerPoint, and internet applications, along with fluent spoken and written English skills as essential qualifications.
