About the Roles

We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join a dairy manufacturing company located in Pioneer. Transport is conveniently provided from Jurong East bus terminal. This is a permanent role with a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:45am to 5:30pm. The position offers a comprehensive package that includes

What You'll Be Doing

Carry out product costing, including standard cost setup and regular updates. Ensure accuracy of cost allocation through standard costing activities. Contribute to budgeting, annual operating plans, and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with Production teams on volume planning, inventory accounting, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Work with R&D on costing for new products and formulations. Validate production postings promptly to support accurate financial results. Review and analyze production variances, investigating differences between actual and standard costs. Monitor inventory reports to highlight and address excess or obsolete stock. Prepare monthly reports, KPIs, and operational analyses for management review. Support Operations in driving process improvements and cost-saving measures. Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts, reconciling differences with system records. Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries for inventory, accruals, goods-in-transit, and adjustments. Maintain bills of materials (BOM), item master data, and perform cost revaluations. Assist with audits and provide information for external queries. Take on additional projects or tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of costing experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. A collaborative team player who can manage deadlines and perform under pressure. Proficiency in ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
