is seeking a meticulous

Cost Accountant

to join their team at

Pioneer

, with

transport provided from Jurong East bus terminal

. This is a

permanent position

offering a

. You'll work a

5-day week (Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 5:30 pm)

What You'll Be Doing

Execute product costing and standard cost updates to ensure accuracy in manufacturing data. Contribute to the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and operating plans. Collaborate with Production teams on volume planning, inventory accounting, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Work with R&D to establish cost estimates for new items and product introductions. Review production postings to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Investigate variances between actual and standard costs, providing detailed analysis and insights. Monitor inventory reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock. Prepare monthly management reports, KPI dashboards, and related performance analyses. Partner with Operations to drive process enhancements and cost-control initiatives. Conduct physical and cycle inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies with book records. Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries for inventory, cost accruals, GIT, and adjustments. Maintain bills of materials (BOM) and item master data; perform standard cost revaluations. Support both internal and external audit requirements and special project requests. Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of costing experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive team player capable of managing tight deadlines effectively. Proficient in ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an advantage.
