Our client is a leading manufacturing company in precision engineering industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Cost Analyst to be part of their FP&A Team. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Duties of Cost Analyst:
Perform detailed product cost analysis, including materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate cost structures and allocations.
Conduct regular variance analysis and provide insights on cost drivers, trends, and profitability impact.
Develop and maintain standardized costing methodologies and models across sites.
Partner with Production, Procurement, Sales, and FP&A teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement within the costing framework.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support audit requirements.
Provide cost data and analysis for management reports, special projects, and business decisions.
Contribute product cost inputs to budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting field
Min 3 years of costing analysis experience in manufacturing industry
Able to work in fast-paced environment
