Position Overview / Primary Responsibilities KBR seeks a legal counsel based in Singapore to support its Sustainable Technology Solutions business unit. The role will report to the Legal Director based in Leatherhead, UK. As legal counsel for Kellogg Brown & Root Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (the “Company”), you will advise on a range of transactional, corporate and compliance matters for the APAC & EMEA Integrated Solutions International and Technology Led Industrial Solutions business segments that make up part of the Sustainable International Solutions business unit. Some ad hoc support for the Government Solutions business unit or any other businesses with an APAC or EMEA nexus may be required. You will not only have proven technical ability but understand the commercial requirements to effectively operate as a business partner in an in-house environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a pro-active and enthusiastic lawyer to support a company in its ongoing transition. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Regional Management Team and be highly visible. Core Responsibilities

• Reviewing tenders, drafting and negotiating contracts for engineering, project management, construction management and consulting services in APAC and EMEA.
• Ensuring compliance with KBR’s policies and procedures, including the provision of training and coaching to staff as and when required.
• Providing advice and guidance to the business and Regional Senior Management on matters with a commercial or legal impact on the Company.
• Collaborating with the project proposal teams and business to identify legal, commercial and execution risks and agree and align on risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Advising the project proposal teams and Regional Senior Management on contract risks and issues with a potential commercial or legal impact on the Company.
• Drafting and managing requests for approval upwards to Regional Senior Management from the business functions to deviate from KBR policy requirements where necessary and/or appropriate.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating memorandums of understanding, joint venture, alliance, consortium and other teaming or strategic partnership agreements.
• Conducting due diligence on joint venture partners and third-party intermediaries, as well as potential vendors and specialist service providers, and drafting the requisite accompanying due diligence memorandums or other anti-corruption compliance documentation.
• Corporate secretarial support for the regional entities, in particular Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Korea and China.

Key Requirements The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 8+ years PQE and have relevant industry and regional experience. A strong anti-corruption compliance background would be an advantage. In-house experience is preferred, although high-quality candidates currently in private practice but interested in moving in-house will be considered. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, confident, professional, and proactive in their approach, have the ability to work collaboratively, and also be capable of working autonomously. The candidate must possess strong drafting and negotiation skills of complex agreements. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be able to independently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
