Job Description

:

You will be part of the team to provide marriage support services for marital couples, divorcing families and children, which include case management, counselling and family dispute management. You are also expected to run programmes catering to the unique needs of families facing problems.

• Conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families who is experiencing stress due to family-related issues, including marriage, parent-child relationships or issues among siblings or extended family.
• Provide support group therapy for parents and children
• Facilitate co-parenting programmes and workshops to help equip parents with knowledge of positive parent-child relationship, and build strategies in managing their co-parenting through counselling and coaching of parenting issues.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant counselling experience in education, counselling, social work, or related work involving family, parents and children, and have experience in conducting training and workshop
• Applicants with 6 or more years of counselling experience would be considered for a senior role.
• Passion for parenting work to strengthen family life
• Preferably SAC registered counsellor

Qualifications:

• Possess a SAC recognized Post-Graduate Diploma or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Counselling; or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Counselling Psychology/Applied Psychology (Counselling); or Bachelor Degree in Counselling or Bachelor Degree in related fields (Social Work) with a recognized certification in Counselling
