What the role is:
Blood component processing and inventory management in Blood Supply Management.
1) Basic whole blood separation, platelet, and frozen plasma preparation
2) Complex blood component preparation and modification procedures (sterile connecting, filtration, pooling, splitting) to obtain specialised blood components based on clinical demand
3) Blood product labelling and proper segregation of non-conformance products from inventory products
4) First-In-First-Out blood product inventory movement for fulfilment of hospital orders
5) Cold chain maintenance with proper packing material and configuration for blood transport
