6 Months Contract (Maternity Cover)
Company: Reinsurance Business
Location: CentralThe individual is responsible to manage technical payments and reinsurance accounting matters. In addition, the individual will need to be hands-on to manage a portfolio of direct and intermediary accounts. This involves reconciliation and processing of insurance and reinsurance receipts and payments, analyzing of premiums collection and claims settlement. The individual is also responsible to be a good team player in assisting to provide support to other team members in some aspects of reconciliation or adhoc duties.Individual\'s portfolio

• Assist other team members in preparation of Cash/ARP application worksheet
• Reconciliation of AR/P balances, monitor debtor/creditor balances to pursue and collect receivables and promptly settle payables when due.
• Ensure receivables/payables are accurately analyzed and cleared from AR/AP system.
• Reply promptly to stakeholders\' questions and concerns
• Liased with technical assistant on technical matters (eg. Non-receipt of settlement)
• Monthly reconciliation of entries in Oracle
• Running monthly reports from system
• Prepare monthly HK revaluation and SG daily cash report
• Prepare and post monthly journal vouchers where necessary

Others

• Carry out any ad hoc project as and when assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in credit control or related experience. Preferably from general insurance/reinsurance industry.
• Minimum: Diploma in accounting, finance or business.
