Roles & Responsibilities
Working within the credit control team, as part of the Finance department, the Credit Control Officer / Technical Accounts’ responsibilities will include proactive credit control / technical accounting, dealing with internal and external queries, maintaining a high-volume ledger and other duties as assigned for both our Insurance and Reinsurance divisions within Asia.
Key responsibilities:
- Banking and receipting
- Technical accounting for treaty business
- Perform accounts reconciliations and allocations
- Timely collection of outstanding debts in a high volume environment
- Maintain company credit policy, refer seriously overdue accounts to appropriate internal/external personnel
- Follow up on outstanding statement of accounts
- Input statement of accounts into accounting module
- Resolving pro-actively customer queries and enquiries in relation to their accounts
- Prepare month end reporting and aged debtor analysis reporting
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Performing credit checks to assess new clients financial stability and risk rating
- Performing credit control function in multi-currency business environment
- Other ad hoc administration duties
