Credit Research Analyst

Singapore

As a Barclays Credit Research Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 India and SEA Corporates, you will be accountable for providing internal and external stakeholders with updated views on Bonds issued by India and SEA based corporates. As an Analyst, you will encompass high grade and high yield credits in the USD Asia-ex Japan credit universe. You will also have an exciting opportunity to be proactively engaging investors to support them in their investment decisions.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?

• Providing updated views on the fundamentals of corporates under coverage
• Providing tactical trade ideas on USD bonds of credits under coverage
• Publishing thematic research reports on issues like regulatory and policy developments, impact of onshore liquidity conditions, technical drivers of bond performance
• Helping to drive premier events on covered corporates (e.g., roundtables, investor trips)
• Providing solid partnership for internal and external client constituents
• Collaborating with sales, trading, equity research and syndicate

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Deep understanding of the drivers of corporate credit profiles relevant to issuers in India and SEA
• Excellent financial analytical skills and understanding of accounting conventions
• Possessing solid communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and a proven history of working well in a team environment
• Familiar with the corporate landscape across India and SEA
