Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the oversight of the Branch\xe2\x80\x99s credit portfolio to ensure robust credit risk
• management practices in safeguarding the credit quality of the loan portfolio.
• Review and analyse deal proposals, look through credit reports and provide independent risk opinion for annual reviews, new & incremental and waiver/amendment credit proposals, whilst ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory credit guidelines;
• Work and engage with Business Units to conduct credit due diligence on existing/prospective clients including client visits
• Presentation of monthly Risk Pack and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) reports for the loan portfolio as part of credit risk reporting

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Minimum University degree from business studies, risk management, finance or other relevant disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant corporate credit experience in the Banking Industry, having covered large corporates and middle market client category
• Experience in a credit analyst role or credit reviewer role providing recommendations to credit approvers
• Well verse in trade finance and derivatives products
• Experience in credit risk governance matters, including credit portfolio reporting, reviewing credit policies, ESG assessment and familiarity with local regulatory environment.
• Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking clients or counterparts
