Job Description

• Our client is a well established bank that focuses heavily in lending and corporate banking related activities in Singapore such as working capital and project financing. They also focus largely in trade finance related activities and wealth management for corporates across Asia. They are currently looking for a Credit/Loan Operations Officer to join their Operations team and look into bilateral and syndicated credit operations

Description

Reporting directly to the Operations Team Lead, your key responsibilities would include:

• Reviewing legal documentations under bilateral and syndicated credit facilities & facility letters to ensure terms and conditions are in line with credit approvals

• Accurately interpret credit agreements in determining allowance of requested transactions

• Examine customer\'s utilisation requests relating to syndication and bilateral loan credit facilities and ensuring that the facility limits and all conditions are met before loan disbursement

• Perform all aspects of loan drawdowns, rollovers and collections of principal repayments and interest payments for both bilateral and syndicated loans

• Interact with RMs when required in following up on outstanding matters/gathering documents from them

• Performing AML/KYC checks and preparing swift payments for loan disbursement

• Issuance of BGs/SBLCs

Profile

To succeed in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

• Degree in Business, Finance or relevant disciplines

• At least 3 years of working experience in handling credit documentations and loan administration

• Understanding of bilateral and syndicated credit operations

• Experienced in loan drawdowns and rollovers as well as issuance of BGs/SBLCs
