Position Overview

With our strong business growth globally, Tencent Cross-Border Financial Platform Development Team is now looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our fast growing Financial Technology (FiT) business in Singapore. The team builds and owns the financial platform infrastructure that governs payment, funding settlement and foreign exchange transactions. He/she should be equipped with solid fundamental programming skill in Java with the ability to build large capacity, high-performance and distributed financial systems. Candidates with prior experience in designing online financial systems such as e-wallet transaction and foreign exchange trading systems would be highly advantageous.

  • Responsible for the architecture design and development of the platform system for cross-border business.
  • Provide underlying generalized financial platform to support business development, facilitating rapid setup in new business directions.
  • Optimize and improve the service operation quality of platform such as payment, funding settlement, and foreign exchange transactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer-related fields or its equivalents
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 software development experience, focusing on financial systems
  • Solid foundational programming skills, proficient in Java development. Candidates with proficiency in C++ will be given priority.
  • Good coding style, familiar with object-oriented programming design, and common design patterns.
  • Have some practical experience with MySQL and KV storage, understand distributed transaction technology, and common high-conformance solutions in the industry.
  • Positive work attitude, good at proactive learning and thinking, strong sense of responsibility, strong interest in technology, rigorous thinking, good problem-solving abilities, able to work independently and possess a strong sense of ownership to push project progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess certain architectural capabilities, with experience in designing and developing large capacity, high-performance, distributed systems.
  • Experience in designing internet financial systems such as e-wallet transaction systems and foreign exchange trading systems.
