Job Description

[ Responsibilities]

1. Refineries Procurement


In charge of the procurement of Crude Oil that Hyundai refineries need and performing activities to maximize margins for the systems. PG, far-east, regional sweets are targeted and arb cargoes as well PG cycle tracking and periodical provision of current market level Finance support strongly required such as LC work and line of credit management To explore opportunity grades and to study on stream change Good understanding on relevant Korean tariff laws


2. Maintain good biz relations with suppliers and buyers and show biz opportunities


keep good channels of suppliers and communicate with them in various ways


3. Business Support/Compliance


Provide other traders with fundamental market information Abide by all internal and external regulatory requirements and limits


4. FO Trading


Global feedstock purchasing (HSSR/LSSR/VGO/slurry etc.) with vast knowledge on FO market Finished product procurement such as RMG LS/HS etc. To explore feedstock in Asia Pacific along with overseas branches (London/Houston etc.) Good understanding on relevant Korean tariff laws/RCEP


5. Coordination with bunker trading Team in Seoul for trading optimization


To export VLSO or component as well as procurement of them as needed Maintain close communication with HQ for accommodating system requirements and refining activity changes


6. Furnish Trading Activity / Market Intelligence Reporting on a daily basis as required


Produce strategy reporting periodically and as required


7. Maintain good biz relations with suppliers and buyers and show biz opportunities

[ Requirements ]

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in Crude Oil and Fuel Oil market.


2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially for Excel)


3. Proficiency in written and spoken English, and Proficiency in Korean preferred(Optional).


4. Extensive knowledge in cargo operation, freight chartering and storage operations etc.
