We aim to engage and inspire our visitors through exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives.Responsibilities:The Curator at NTU Museum will lead the curatorial team in developing, managing, and executing the museum\'s exhibitions, collections, and public programs. The role requires a deep knowledge of contemporary art and culture, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences. The Curator will be responsible for the strategic vision of the museum\xe2\x80\x99s curatorial practices, ensuring that exhibitions and programs align with the museum\'s mission and goals.Strategise and implement a curatorial vision that enhances the museum\'s reputation locally, nationally, and internationally.Lead the curatorial planning, organizing, and executing exhibitions, including the selection of works, exhibition design, and interpretation.Oversee the development and implementation of innovative and inclusive exhibition strategies that engage diverse audiences.Collaborate with the Head of Museum on strategic planning and long-term goals for the museum.Lead the development and execution of dynamic and thought-provoking exhibitions that reflect contemporary issues and diverse perspectives.Collaborate with artists, scholars, and other institutions to create innovative and engaging exhibitions and programs.Oversee the production of exhibition-related publications, catalogues, and educational materials.Formulate and implement public programs, lectures, and events that complement exhibitions and engage the community.Requirements:Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field.A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a curatorial role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.Extensive knowledge of contemporary art, art history, and museum practices.Proven experience in curating major exhibitions and managing collections.Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Excellent arts writing skills required to write compelling and insightful content, including exhibition descriptions, and catalogue essays.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including artists, scholars, donors, and the public.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in curatorial practices and programming.Preferred Skills:Strong network of contacts within the art and museum communities.Experience with public speaking and community engagement.Knowledge of current trends and best practices in museum education and public programming.If you are a creative and results-driven professional with a passion for the arts and culture, and have experience in content creation for social media platforms, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Hiring Institution: NTU
