Assist the curriculum team at Academia Education Centre to develop and enhance learning materials for students ranging from primary school to junior college
Assist teachers with teaching and hosting lessons, whether physical or online, including managing students in classroom, when required
Assisting with marking and review of students’ work, according to centre's standard
Interns are also given the freedom to develop engaging educational content to be delivered in print and/or digital platforms
Positions are available for Primary English level, Secondary O Level English, IP English and JC General Paper
Credit-based internship applications are also welcome to apply for full-time internship.

Profile and background

A strong background and proficiency with English language is most important. English majors are highly welcomed but not absolutely required. Undergraduates majoring in humanities and social sciences are also a good fit for this role.
Good work ethics and being able to communicate effectively and manage the expectations not only of parents and students, but also the teachers.
Willingness and ability to work on weekends, minimum 3 workdays per week (ability to commit 1 weekend per week will be a bonus)
Ability to work independently and synthesise content and research materials from various sources
Interns should deploy creativity, meticulousness and rigor when developing educational content, in line with the high standards of the organization
