Customer Order Management Specialist

:

  • Meet Customer Requirements (volumes, delivery paperwork, required PCL assessments, Labelling, etc.)
  • Process Customer Orders in ERP
  • Manage variations and confirm/agree shipment plans with customer
  • Identify and React to Abnormalities at Shipping Point and through Plant Delivery
  • Support new Launches and system custoffs and setups
  • Ensure COM activity is in compliance with the COM specific requirements
  • Ensure up to date demand in the ERP system by processing customer orders
  • Enure ERP Customer demand is up to date and correct in system. Correct customer SAP scheduling agreements.
  • Be familiar with Customers Manuals -
understand customer EDI and labelling process, paperwork, etc. * Maintain customer orders in ERP system to ensure accuracy.
  • Update customer releases for non-EDI in error
  • Ensure available long term customer demand is loaded in SAP
  • Management of difficult customer shipping requirements
  • Manage customer variations and coordinate with Production planning and scheduling the required adjustment to the build plans. If necessary propose alternative shipping plans.
  • Follow escalation process for demand variation and potential customer risks
  • Coordinate with production planning that part are available as per customer demand
  • Raise outbound premium freight request and obtain approval if required.
  • Trigger shipments to customer inline with requirements & the agreed shipping plan
  • Coordinate shipments: communicate with customer carriers, shipping schedules within customs timings and rules, and documentation needs
  • Trigger ERP shipment, provided adequate stock available and inline with customer requirements.
  • Confirm / agree shipment plans with customer.
  • Ensure Shipments match customer requirements: volume, timing, paperwork, labelling, ASNs.
  • Monitor and respond to customer messages and metrics within allowed timings and through customer preferred means of communication.
  • Monitoring and continuous improvement for all COM elements.
  • Ensure COM specific monitoring files are regularly updated and anomalies managed. E.g. SAP, customer arrears metrics posted on the OMS.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the COM process. Ensure compliance to any COM related completion assessment / O.S.A gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduling OS Assessment (COM related section).
  • Provide OSA and action plant for improvement as required.
  • Support new launches and system custoff and setups
  • Support / coordinate Customer related cutoff activities for new launches; New sales orders setup, check EDI setting inside new customer sales orders, stock cutoffs, etc.
  • Check that all customer-related setup is done (specific labeling, paperwork, master data, etc)
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Diploma holders in related field
  • Systems (SAP and Excel) skills
  • Results-driven and good problem-solving skills
  • At least 2 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with manufacturing / lean teams and colleagues
  • English and other language skills adapted to the key customer base where possible
