Summary: Leads with humility and functions as a subject matter expert and consultant for the business unit portfolio and Jeppesen enterprise on all financial escalations. Acts as a liaison between finance, sales, business units and external customers to ensure revenue protection and payment negotiation commitments. Partners with applicable areas of the business unit to identify and transition opportunities for new and expanded business.
Job Responsibilities: The Customer Relations Specialists\xe2\x80\x99 core responsibilities start with a thorough discovery of each account escalation. Through the review and analysis of relevant information, for example, the items bulleted below, the Customer Relations Specialist will identify areas of opportunity to improve customer engagement and increase revenue flow.
Develop, maintain, coordinate, and execute tactical plans to ensure revenue protection of account escalations prompted by sales and finance.
Establish and maintain relationships with internal business partners (Sales/Finance) to resolve customer financial inquiries. This includes customer calls to discuss unapplied customer payments, questions on invoices and covid relief.
Validate customer contracts and negotiation history using internal tools; iCertis/Salesforce.
Validate any pending negotiations and temperature of accounts prior to contacting customers.
Communicate internally with all impacted parties (Sales, Finance, Customer Success Manager, Client Managers)
Initiate warning and termination letters in accordance with internal legal guidelines.
Maintain BSM Tracker and Warning/Termination letter tracker via SharePoint page.
Monitor upcoming commercial airlines contract renewals and ensure timely compliance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in airline or aviation industry.
Must have the ability to document professional, clear, and concise verbal and written communication.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree is preferred, or an appropriate mix of education and experience in line with the role and its responsibilities.
Contract or finance experience desired.
Oracle ERP desired.
Icertis / Contracting desired.
