What You'll Be Doing
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional service experience from vehicle intake through completion, while supporting aftersales performance and revenue growth.

  • Attend to customers professionally and promptly, minimising waiting time and ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Liaise closely with the Workshop to obtain accurate vehicle diagnoses and provide professional advice on repairs, servicing, or technical assistance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and relevant parties to ensure repairs and servicing meet customer needs and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Keep customers regularly updated on service progress and follow up accordingly.
  • Support the daily operations of the service reception.
  • Track backordered parts and follow up with customers to schedule installation appointments promptly.
  • Manage customer expectations and feedback, ensuring complaints are addressed with urgency to keep complaint ratios low.
  • Achieve BYD aftersales targets set by the principal and Vantage.
  • Actively promote and upsell aftersales parts, accessories, service packages, and extended warranties to increase aftersales revenue.
  • Monitor, track, and close outstanding and WIP repair orders, purchase orders, and aftersales documentation within required timelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area at all times.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Who We're Looking For
  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 3 Driving Licence.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with a positive, "can?do" attitude.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer expectations professionally.
  • Results-driven with a willingness to support both service quality and revenue targets.
