Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding) in Cogent Integrated Supply Chain Pte Ltd. The Customer Service Executive will be responsible for handling export and import documentation, managing communication and document management processes, and ensuring proper billing for all closed jobs.

1. Manage shipping documentation formalities with regards to Port Authority / Customs / Tradenet.

2. Ensure proper and timely billing / closing for all job files, issuance of credit note, internal expenses report by end of each month.

3. Coordinates day-to-day operations and transactions for freight forwarding and other related activity.

4. Manage job file creation, costing and other data entries in system.

5. Arrange bookings with carriers / co-loaders and execute all shipping documents, e.g. shipping order, trucking instruction, shipping certificate, subsidiary certificate, bill of lading, forwarder cargo receipt, export subsidiary certificate, etc.

6. Send pre-alerts and shipping advice timely to customers and agent.

7. Coordinate dispatch of shipping documents to customers and agents.

8. Assist in shipping rate sourcing with various carriers.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification

2. Preferably 1 year's relevant experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry

3. Good verbal and written skills

4. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

5. Experience in the freight forwarding industry is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,300.00 per month
