• Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics/ Freight Forwarding
• Position Title: Customer Service Officer (Ship Parts/ Oil & Gas) / Shipping Officer (Ship Parts/ Oil & Gas)
• Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
• Salary: Up to $3000 + AWS
• Duration: Permanent Role

Responsibilities

• Attend to call, email from overseas officers & agent rates enquiries.
• Monitor shipments (arrival date, time, short landed, survey cargo)
• Preparation of quotations for customers. (Local / Airfreight / Seafreight)
• Manage the movement of shipment in and/or out of the countries (Ship Parts / Oil & Gas / Project Cargo).
• Manage the necessary documentation for the efficiency of all import/export activities.
• Communicate with the export and import and related overseas office, customers and suppliers, in all relevant countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive support and activities.
• Manage / Liaise with stock control, warehousing for import/export activities on behalf of customers (catering mainly to Ship Parts / Oil & Gas customers).
• Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner, for example, Inventory reports, shipping schedules, documents, declaring permits, arranging packing, preparing CIPL shipments & Sub Cert.
• Prepare invoices to customers and do costing to close job files.
• E-filing of documents.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Company’s management from time to time.

• Minimum 1 year of related working experience, preferably in the freight forwarding industry
• Knowledge with Cargowise One System will be an added advantage.
