Job Description




As a customer service officer, you will fully support the sales team in the sales administration aspect as required. The sales team fronts all direct engagements with the company\xe2\x80\x99s clients and you will often be the main contact point on administrative and follow-up matters. The tasks assigned will develop and cultivate some technical understanding of sales processes and some elements of customer negotiation. While you will be not required to make major negotiation decisions, the company encourages each employee to grow in his or her role and try new role(s) at a comfortable pace.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assignment as the main contact point on sales administration matters with customers
  • Maintain the register of pipelines and secured contracts.
  • Ensure the register is consistently and precisely updated across all sales personnel and operations department
  • Report sales statistics on a regular basis or in key stakeholder meetings
  • Engage with customers and request for follow-up information as necessary
  • Verify invoices, track payment schedules and be the key liaison between sales and finance departments
  • Attend to customer enquiries and resolve them with initiative
  • Assist in presentation and marketing efforts
  • Work with other departments or support other regional activities
  • All necessary in-house training, supervision and guidance will be provided for less experienced staff
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 1 year relevant working experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Skills/competencies & Preferred Characteristics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Speak, read and write proficient English language
  • Flexibiltiy to learn and adapt in a fast pace environment
  • Strong conviction to deliver results and resolve matters
  • Highly respects the ethos of teamwork and driven to work objectively as a member of the team
  • Driven by good work ethics
  • Strong experience and knowledge of the industry\xe2\x80\x99s practices, document control, sales and customer relationship management is a plus
  • Willing to travel
