Serves as the primary contact for clients and independent freight carriers and builds a book of ongoing business accounts via prospecting, networking and referrals
Provides the clients with the highest level of service and support in order to retain their business grow their accounts and gain referrals
Generates new business leads and setting appointments
Makes sales presentations to prospective clients
Negotiates shipping rates with carriers and manages daily shipping schedules and dispatching trucks for freight pick-up
Maintains regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs
Provides responsive customer service and resolves client issues quickly and efficiently
Ensures that all client freight loads are shipped on time
Follows up on client referrals and meeting or exceeding all performance goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any four-year business related courses or its equivalent
With above average scholastic records
With at least two (2) year experience in sales and marketing works
Has a strong desire to build a sales career and proven track record of success in previous employment
Proficient in negotiating and selling skills
Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills as well as solid diplomatic and conflict management skills
Able to establish rapport and build credibility through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can work with less supervision, maintain confidentiality and can pay attention to details
Aggressive, persistent, resilient and committed to provide the best customer service
Must have a charismatic and confident personality as well as an exceptional work ethic
Adept in computer software office applications in Windows environment
