Job Description



The KPMG financial services advisory team assists banks and capital market sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments. We support our financial services clients on multiple diverse consulting projects that include:

  • Business growth (e.g., market entry, customer insights, merger and acquisitions support)
  • Operational process improvements
  • Organisation-wide functional (re)design
  • Change management and project management
  • Digital and technology enablement

We are looking to expand our fast-growing financial services advisory in Singapore and are looking for self-motivated candidates to play a significant role in driving the continued growth of our financial services advisory practice. The Business Analyst is required to have strong skill sets in the following key areas: requirement definition and analysis, documentation, project planning and implementation.

  • Align stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are adequately gathered and defined.
  • Perform gap analysis to complete the clients' business requirements.
  • Documents 'as-is' and 'to-be' within accurate and detailed scoping documents.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on business input and translation into visual models (Business domain model, process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, data models, and wireframes).
  • Collaborates closely as a team player with other CRM consultants, developers and other members of service delivery.
  • Coordinate with development team and support team to analyse and fix root cause issues, as needed.
  • Perform system end-to-end testing to validate and ensure the system meets the required specifications.
  • Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
  • Develop test scripts and conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Conduct end-user or train the trainer training Job Requirements:
  • Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business to improve efficiency and add value
  • Responsible to bridge gap between IT and the business to help understand what the client really wants
  • Deliver data driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders
  • Defining and prioritising business requirements including getting feedback and approval

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in business requirement analysis or related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Microsoft D365 CRM or Salesforce experience a plus
  • Effective communications and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • A self-starter and ability to work under pressure and tight schedule with positive and proactive attitude to anticipate challenges and resolves issues.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Customer oriented and a team player with great commitment and attitude.
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Detailed oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
  • Business Analysis certification a plus e.g., CCBA, CBAP, PBA
