CISD currently has an opportunity for an experience Customer Value Agreement Aftermarket Services Consultant . to join the Caterpillar team.
About the Position:
This role is a key interface between a number of regional and global teams across a large matrix organisation. The Aftermarket Services Consultant (ASC) holds a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between the industries in terms of Aftermarkets solutions and strategic plans. The role is clearly recognized as an expert in a specific business segment/specialty area. The ASC has a regional focus.
You will demonstrate creativity, innovation, foresight, business judgment and outstanding product/industry knowledge or marketing/distribution knowledge along with the sensitivity to customer financial impact. You will have knowledge, recognition and expertise on industry & market requirements, technology, and regulations.
The position must possess strong applications experience, life cycle cost knowledge of dealers\' and customers\' application, industry and marketplace need. Provides consulting, collecting VOC for NPI and distribution needs to define and develop Aftermarket breakthrough solutions with the industries that would help in market leadership. This position works with senior management in developing merchandising programs. You will provide CVA guidance and training for ASRs, direction for future solutions and industry needs and share this expertise at higher industry levels with business unit management.
The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to):
Provides Commercial Support:
Support the development of marketing programs with the industry to achieve CISD plans and sales volume targets, PSE objectives and net price realization globally.
Make market driven recommendations on growth strategies to achieve STU revenue targets.
Identify aftermarket issues and develop strategies to overcome them globally.
Support the execution of dependencies execution.
Work with ASRs and Dealers Product Specialists to collect Voice of Market.
Lead analysis of industry key competitors\' merchandising strengths, weaknesses, and tactics.
Develops Go-To-Market merchandising programs and ensure consistency amongst programs.
Responsible for leading special CVA projects (Medium/Long-term impact).
Support Dealer development with training for Dealer PSSRs.
Required Skill and Experience:
Experience in product marketing commercial, dealer operational or technical experience with a good working understanding of the needs of customers, dealers, product groups.
A university degree or equivalent years of experience.
Previous experience launching new products, and NPI recommendations, delivering price realisation targets, are required.
Ability to demonstrate industry and product knowledge, NPI process and experience working price/value analysis and disconnects.
Exceptional organisational and analytical skills and be highly proficient working team dynamics and interpersonal relationships to successfully influence others and achieve challenging goals across the global Caterpillar enterprise.
Excellent communication skills and be willing to be a strong advocate of the customer and the enterprise.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous ASR or Operations Representative experience.
Consistent Dealer Interfacing role experience, specifically in Business Development.
Previous Construction Industries / CVA product experience.
Multiple languages capabilities.
