Are you a seasoned SecOps Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance threat detections and safeguard a complex organization? Our esteemed client (a large corporation and a household name in Singapore) is currently undertaking an exciting transformation, with Cyber Security as a top priority. They are now seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their Sec Ops Center as a Cyber Defense Manager. You will play a crucial role in performing triaging, incident investigations, and threat hunting. You will also have the opportunity to develop and improve their playbooks. Responsibilities:

Perform triage, incident investigations, and threat hunting across the organization\'s environment.

Review, update, and create threat detection rules using SIEM or EDR.

Review, update, and create playbooks to enhance incident response capabilities.

Stay current with the evolving threat landscape, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and industry best practices.

Automate processes using tools such as SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) or scripting.

Provide timely and relevant updates to appropriate stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong foundation in Cybersecurity.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognise information from various sources to support investigations.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python will be strongly preferred.

Knowledge in forensic analysis will be strongly preferred.
