Job Responsibilities:

Deploy and provide professional services:

Implementation and upgrading of Cybersecurity products Fortinet, Palo Alto & Endpoint. Updating of Firewalls rules (Inbound & Outbound) Occasionally, this will involve managing customers and timelines.

Provide workable solutions:

Testing, documenting, updating, deploying of security patches (i.e. application, system and network);

Perform installations and configurations:

Updating of antivirus definitions; IPS signatures, System information gathering.

System information gathering:

Security logs retrieval; providing inputs pertaining to feasibility and functionality of new cybersecurity enhancement, such as new component implementation.

Subject matter expertise:

Document outlines the process of incident handling, which includes identification, reporting, response, investigation, recovery, remediation, and post-incident review and evaluation.

Technical assistance:

Configuration within any part of the systems to ensure sufficient logging are being captured, loggings can be routed to requested facilities as well as to address to security testing findings

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in IT, IS, Cyber Security, or related fields. Minimum 3 years experience in the IT Security domain Positive and professional working attitude. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Capable of handling stress, meeting tight deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of technology infrastructures such as Firewalls, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, DNS, Email Security, Log Management, Endpoint Security. Proficiency in troubleshooting various technologies, network, and system issues including routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, AD, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, SSH.

Contract length: 36 months

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

Monday to Friday On call
