JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
2) Identify and define system security requirements
3) Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
4) Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
5) Coordinate with line of business for cybersecurity compliance matters and project initiative
6) Work with the various team to perform analysis of security events, network traffic and identify incident root cause and steps to mitigate the risk
7) Perform vulnerability assessment and remediate the findings
8) Follow up on the security advisories and threat intelligence report shared by regulators and MSP

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1) Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer, with min. 5 years of relevant experience
2) Experience in building and maintaining security systems
3) Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
4) Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc

6) Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
7) Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
8) Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
9) Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
10) BS degree in Computer Science or related field
