Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist
Job Description
Our client seeks a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist to enhance their Cyber Defence team. This role involves gathering and assessing threat data, producing insights on risks, and supporting proactive security measures.
Key Responsibilities
Collect intelligence from open sources, feeds, and internal logs to track emerging threats and actors.
Analyse threat patterns, tactics, techniques, and indicators of compromise to forecast potential attacks.
Produce reports, briefings, and profiles on adversaries, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
Collaborate with incident response, SOC, and engineering teams to prioritise risks and refine defences.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years in threat intelligence, analysis, or cybersecurity, with experience using platforms like MISP, ThreatConnect, or SIEM tools.
Proficiency in OSINT, malware review, network protocols, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Certifications such as GCTI, CCTIA, or CREST preferred, with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
