We are a technology advisory company with an available role for a Cybersecurity Specialist/Trainer within our Cybersecurity practice. This role will provide opportunities to be involved in cybersecurity capacity building and projects within the Asia Pacific region. While exposing the individual to many aspects of cybersecurity services and technologies, this role will require the individual to conduct cybersecurity-related training focusing on policies, audit, risk, and strategies. The individual will have a passion for technology policy, interpersonal collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The individual must actively contribute to projects and work closely with the team to deliver quality capacity-building programs throughout the region.Specialist role Analyse customer requirements, available training methods and material, and facilities to deliver the required classroom or virtual instruction curriculum. Provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned participants as described in the course materials. Manage the instructional content for the assigned topic area. Develop and deliver new content and make recommendations for revisions of existing topic area content. Maintain relationships with points of contact in relevant countries and understand their requirement for future capacity building and cybersecurity development needs. Be available to conduct periodic regional 2-4 day travel within the Asia/Pacific region to fulfil training and assessment requirements. Work on cybersecurity-related projects and deliver in a timely manner.Requirements A Degree in IT/Cybersecurity or a related field. At least three (3) years of experience in professional cybersecurity and consulting. Two (2) years' experience within the last three (3) years in preparing and presenting skills-based instruction in the specified topic area, including facilitating student participation through role-playing or operational simulation. Adequate knowledge and experience in cybersecurity policies, risk management, standards, strategies, and governance.
