Cylindrical & Surface Grinding Machinist

Job Description
5.5 Days Work Week
Monday to Friday : 0830 - 1730
Saturday : 0830 - 1230
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual or semi-automatic grinding machines Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing. Measure and inspect workpieces using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometres, high gauge, dial indicators). Ensure high-quality surface finishes and maintain tight tolerances. Performs regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of grinding equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop Work with the Supervisor on the job planning, delivery time, scheduling, machine. Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in Cylindrical & surface grinding or toolroom machining Strong knowledge of surface finishing techniques, flatness tolerances, and material characteristics. Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T symbols. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments. Team players with good work ethics and attention to details.
