Job Description

Job Scope:

• Collect Voice of the Customer feedback and insights to create meaningful user stories and use cases.
• Maintain and prioritize each products backlog of feature requests and bug fixes.
• Create and present business cases to leadership to secure required support (fund/resources etc) in each products major release.
• Maintain product roadmap for assigned product line.
• Write functional and business level requirements and effectively communicate requirements to the development team, technology or vendor partners.
• Lead Scrum calls with cross functional teams to execute iterative releases for assigned product lines.
• Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure timely on-budget delivery.
• Define the short, mid, and long-term product strategy for each assigned solution. This includes value positioning, target audience and features/benefits.
• Define and execute effective launch plans.
• Educate and train stakeholders how to use the product.
• Develop adequate support personnel, structure, and procedures to ensure assigned product line releases are successful and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Frequent market/innovation research to ensure competitive positioning of the assigned product line.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information / Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years working experience in ICT Industry or related domains
• Certified or equivalent working experience with Business Intelligence (e.g. Tableau Data Analyst)
• Strong skills in SQL, Python and BI tooling (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy)
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and able to exert influence over non-reporting lines
• Strong skills in designing and managing end-to-end data product lifecycle from inception to production
• Strong skills in bringing stakeholders towards a common vision through workshops, focus groups and storyboarding
• Strong skills in agile methodology such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc
• Experience with data analytics concepts such as data modelling, data marts, data medallion architecture, etc
• Able to demonstrate adaptability and be able to pick up domain-specific knowledge quickly and independently
• Driven and motivated team player who can work independently
• Passion for championing new improvement initiatives and desire to always make things better
• Willing to learn and willing to share knowledge and mentor other team members and Govtechies
