Job Description

The Data Analyst will be based in Singapore to analyze the media trend in the India market. You will leverage data analysis and market research techniques to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and inform strategic decision-making.:

• Oversee the quality of ratings from external vendors and ensure accurate assessment of Punjabi or Tamil content in relevance to media.
• Generate detailed reports that analyze issues, patterns, and trends specific to Punjabi or Tamil media content.
• Use data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) to identify insights and uncover relevance issues within query logs and metrics.
• Collaborate closely with statisticians, engineers, and data scientists to evaluate and refine search algorithms.

• BA/BS or equivalent industry experience in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or relevant.
• Experience data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau.
• Familiar with search and recommendations engines.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and generating reports.
• Able to read and write in Punjabi or Tamil (min. B3 in 'O' level Punjabi or Tamil or equivalent certifications) to read, analyze and write content in Punjabi or Tamil.
• Good knowledge of India media such as music and movie industries is required to support the India market.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to be proactive in bringing new, innovative ideas to the table.
