JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze large, complex datasets representing the behavior of millions of retail consumers and users of the Fairprice online platforms to address strategic and operational needs of the business Initiate and design projects: plan a methodology, analyse the data, synthesize research findings into key insights and recommendations, and present to stakeholders at various levels Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to institutionalize insights discovery Coordinate and work with various internal clients including, but not limited to - business leads, category managers, marketing, finance, etc, using data to drive continuous improvement in their respective business objectives Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities Recommend solutions across operation such as identifying bottlenecks, recommending assortments, and how to improve customer experience Manage end-to-end data projects; identify issues, gather information from various sources, analyze data, interpret patterns and trends, give recommendations, and create insightful automated reports Review day-to-day operation processes, identify areas of improvement and make actionable recommendations based on underlying analysis Automate and validate newly created reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality Be a steward of good data practices - robust documentation, process and knowledge sharing Drive transformation within the organization towards data driven decision making by developing reporting tools to drive self-service analytic Design and execute experimentation to use data to improve strategic projects. You must be able to define hypotheses, set up experiments, and track and analyze the results.
