Role:

JLL Technologies is a tech-focused division of Jones Lang LaSalle, a world leader in real estate services and a Fortune 500 company.

We are looking for an Data Analyst to our Support team:

• with experience in Business Intelligence (BI) who is willing to specialize in BI support area.
• problem solver with strong analytical and communication skills
• keen on leveraging and building-up SQL skills as well as getting exposure and building up Google Cloud Platform skills, including Big Query (over time option to expand/leverage other BI and data warehouse tools like Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory)

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and maintenance of end-to-end BI solutions, including the back-end (database, ETL/ELT) and the front-end solution layers as well as access control. This also includes:
• Sourcing data from SQL data sources and other data sources hosted within GCP leveraging ETL/ELT tools and refresh when needed;
• Investigating issues raised by solution users and proposing and implementing solutions to fix or remedy the impact of the issues
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand issues raised, pain points, and business needs; assisting clients, users and colleagues in resolving technology as well as access issues
• Educating or advising clients and users on a more optimal use of the solutions provided
• Proactively spotting trends or potential issues and proposing solutions;
• Optimizing and automating operational support and maintenance processes
• Developing own expertise and sharing it with the team to help the team capabilities mature

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Outstanding analytical skills, with preference for a statistics or strategy background.
• Strong communication and people skills \xe2\x80\x93 capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, across cultures and languages. Fluent in written and spoken English.
• A degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Maths, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in SQL, R or Python will be a plus.
• External client contact experience will be highly regarded.
• Preference for being part of a self-starting team and willingness to get actively involved in developing solutions for the client.
