The role is part of an evolving function within our Data & Analytics department, focused on delivering high-quality data services that support reporting and decision-making for one of the world's leading financial institutions.
We are looking for an ETL Data Analyst based in Singapore, covering the APAC time zone, who can take ownership of service delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the data landscape of a global financial organization, from both technical and business perspective.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of ETL processes and workflows into the Data Warehouse
• Ensure efficiency and operation stability of BAU data processing and workflow management through effective ETL oversight and optimization
• Ensure data quality along the data value chain and actively contribute to the extension of the data quality framework
• Define KPIs and steer external service providers in ensuring effective Operations
• Lead resolution of data issues, user queries and incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL pipeline failures and data flow issues
• Foster strong relationships and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders and external service providers
• Proactively identify and implement improvements with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to the onboarding of new data sources and support evolving business needs

What you bring

• University degree in (Business) Information System, Computer Science with focus on finance / investments/mathematics or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in working with ETL tools, especially Informatica PowerCenter, is an advantage
• Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripts) is an added advantage
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies
• Passionate individual with broad understanding of financial instruments and asset management business and processes preferred
• Experience in working with or management of service providers is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English (both reading and writing)
