Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This stint offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization while working closely with experienced professionals in the field. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for extracting insights from data.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and Cleaning:

• Collect and compile data from various sources.
• Clean, validate, and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Data Analysis:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
• Utilize statistical techniques to analyze datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.

Statistical Modeling:

• Assist in developing and implementing statistical models to predict trends and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the team to refine and improve existing models.

Data Visualization:

• Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate data insights effectively.
• Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or others to present findings in a visually appealing manner.

Reporting:

• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
• Summarize complex data sets into actionable insights.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and data scientists to contribute to ongoing projects.

Documentation:

• Document analysis processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of data sources and analyses.

Duration: The internship is expected to last 3 to 6 months with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Skills & Experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
