Join our dynamic Global Wealth Data & Analytics team as a Data Strategy Lead, where you'll spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data delivery processes including defining the target state and the execution roadmap. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and empower teams through data literacy and continuous learning.
As a Data Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy and data delivery framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data delivery processes, manage dependencies, communicate strategies, facilitate data tool rollout, and prioritize roadmaps across D&A teams
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust data strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Design the execution of bank's transformation programs to support the transition towards a data-driven organisation, with data and people at the heart of change.
• Bring to life a seamless data and analytics strategy that solve most complex business challenges to enable the making of better-informed decisions.
• Design and implement data and technology operating models that encompass people, process, technology, and data.
• Provide thought leadership on use of traditional or emerging technology tools and disrupt their current ways of working to extract greater value from their input.
• Lead various cross-functional engagement forums, including working group sessions and executive updates.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on data strategy, dependencies, execution roadmaps, and delivery timelines.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand data needs and devise solutions that support business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging data and technologies to deliver business insights.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Services (either industry or consulting). Preferably a year of consulting experience in any of the Big 4 or consulting firms.
• Understand how data strategies are created and implemented.
• Passion for designing large, multi-year data transformations with people at the centre of change.
• Passion for solving big complex problems using data and technology

• Proven self-starter, able to identify needs and drive solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Experience with financial data analytics and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in data analytics, delivery, and management.
• Certification in data analytics or management-related topics is a plus.
