Job Description


We are seeking a senior data and technology expert to augment our digital transformation capabilities in Asia Pacific. You are skilled in evaluating advertiser digital maturity, developing maturity roadmaps that include data strategy, solutions architecting of an ad:tech/mar:tech ecosystem, data management & profiling, audience analytics and audience strategy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a real passion not just for data, data management and technology but also for creative story-telling that scales understanding and results in tangible actions and output. The Data and Technology Solutions Lead will shape the transformation of our client’s data, technology & analytics capabilities and design transformative initiatives, prioritization exercises, business cases and deliver implementation roadmaps in collaboration with our clients’ marketing and IT departments. Candidate must be client facing, have proficiency with Google Marketing Cloud and Adobe tech stack components among other technologies, experience in consulting, project management and ideally business development. You will be able to share case studies of successful transformation projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting: work with agency and client teams to evaluate current state and design future state digital transformation projects using your expertise, Publicis proprietary tools and process.
  • Project Management: deployment of digital transformation efforts including technology, processes such as taxonomy, partnerships and integrations, regulatory compliance including:

  • Scoping & work estimations
  • Stakeholder management
  • Definition & tracking of success criteria and timelines/ milestone
  • Leading of deployment teams (strategic & technical)
  • Participate in requirements sessions with business stakeholders to clarify their needs
  • Perform gap analysis on the client’s current data & architecture(s), identifying challenges and opportunities
  • Specify the scope, tasks, milestones, and deliverables of projects supporting a clients’ data & technology transformation
  • Education: of key clients and agency partners particularly in relation to data strategy, privacy regulation, cookie deprecation and digital transformation.
  • Work collaboratively with Publicis Groupe agencies and internal teams to define client data & technology needs & opportunities and develop applications and use cases for Publicis offerings and services.
  • Engage client services teams around all aspects of data & technology enablement and opportunity development
Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience using analytical methodologies to solve business, marketing, and media challenges; experience with a digital agency/ consultancy, martech/ adtech platform service provider, 3rd party data solutions provider, etc. is desirable
  • Experience in mapping complex data & marketing technology infrastructures (e.g., in-depth knowledge of Adobe tech stack and its various components/ stakeholders and how they interact with media platforms such as Google DV360 or Facebook)
  • Understanding of digital media channels (such as programmatic, search, social)
  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g., impression, GRP, CPV etc.), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, ROI, Effectiveness, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, t-value VIF etc.).
  • Working knowledge in a statistical programming language (such as R, Python, Knime)
  • Working knowledge with AWS and/or Google Cloud is highly desirable
  • Experience in relational databases and high proficiency in using data querying tools (such as SQL)
  • Experience designing and measuring media- and audience-based tests using test & control, A/B testing or multivariate testing approaches
  • Working experience with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI or DataStudio
  • Able to lead complex multi-dimensional engagements that combine agency services, data management and consulting
  • Able to think strategically and articulate complex challenges and solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Organized, structured and able to work against clear objectives and timelines. You are known for an optimistic “can-do” attitude
  • Skilled at influencing without authority while navigating siloed organizational structure
