Job Description

Our client is a global Consulting firm, currently seeking an experienced Data Architect with a consulting background, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.This role involves designing and implementing robust data architectures to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI (GenAI) projects. The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience with GenAI and a deep understanding of data management in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.Key Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture Design: Develop, implement, and optimize scalable data architectures that meet business requirements, particularly within the banking and financial services domains.
• Cloud Solutions: Lead the architecture and deployment of data solutions on AWS or GCP, ensuring seamless integration with GenAI and advanced analytics frameworks.
• GenAI Integration: Design data architectures that support GenAI applications, enabling insights and efficiencies through AI-driven solutions.
• Data Strategy & Governance: Establish and uphold data management strategies and governance standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Project Management: Oversee data architecture and GenAI projects from ideation through deployment, ensuring alignment with client needs, timelines, and business objectives.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in data architecture, advising stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends, particularly within AI, machine learning, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure data solutions adhere to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and align with industry best practices for data privacy and security.

Key Requirements:

• Experience:

• 10+ years in data architecture, with a consulting background preferred.
• Proven track record on large-scale projects in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI solutions within the last year.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture frameworks (e.g., Data Vault, Kimball, TOGAF).
• Expertise in data tools and technologies, such as Databricks, Snowflake, and relevant GCP/AWS analytics tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages for data processing, including SQL, Python, and Spark.
