Position Title: Data Center Training Specialist (WSP)

Location: Singapore

Your role

The Data Center Training Specialist will be responsible to manage and deliver the end-to-end Work Study Diploma Program for our data center operations. This role is critical in developing future talent by designing, implementing, and overseeing structured training programs that combine academic learning with hands-on experience in a live data center environment.

What you'll do

Program Management

Own the full lifecycle of the Work Study Diploma Program, from planning and onboarding to completion and evaluation. Coordinate with educational institutions, internal stakeholders, and trainees to ensure program objectives are met.

Training Design & Delivery

Develop and maintain training materials, schedules, and competency frameworks tailored to data center operations. Facilitate classroom, workshops and on-the-job training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track trainee progress, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans where necessary. Prepare regular reports on program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.

Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with hiring managers, operations teams, and HR to align program outcomes with workforce planning needs. Act as the primary point of contact for trainees, ensuring a positive learning experience.

What you'll need

Min Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field. Min 2+ years in training, learning & development, or data center operations. Experience managing structured training programs or internships preferred. Strong communication and facilitation skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines. Familiarity with data center safety and operational protocols is a plus. Working knowledge of data center infrastructure systems including:


+ Electrical distribution (UPS, switchgear, generators)
+ Mechanical systems (CRAH, chillers, pumps, cooling towers)
+ Fire suppression and detection systems ( sprinkler, smoke detectors)
+ Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools
Basic understanding of IT systems Server hardware, network switches, structured cabling Certifications preferred such as Data Center Certification, Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training tools. Experience in curriculum development and instructional design, especially for technical or engineering subjects.
