What the role is:

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore\'s internal security and stability. For over 70 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. You will be part of a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for the implementation and management of strategic data centre technologies.

What you will be working on:

• Participate in designing and modernisation of data centre infrastructure; \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage data centre operations, which include formulation and assessment of KPIs, capacity planning, usage management etc; \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with stakeholders during incident response and remediation of issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage data centre modernisation and technology upgrade projects; \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage data centre maintenance contracts; \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical consultancy to stakeholders regarding project on-boarding; \xe2\x80\xa2 Review and refine existing workflows as part of on-going digital transformation for Data Centre operation; \xe2\x80\xa2 Explore new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency and physical security of data centre.

What we are looking for:

• Degree or diploma in engineering or ICT disciplines, or equivalent competencies will be preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 2 years of working experience in data centre operation and / or facility management will be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Applicants with no experience may apply. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge in data centre infrastructure setup, capacity planning, resource allocation, and data centre standards \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced in ICT outsourcing, project management, vendor management and contract management \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to coordinate, organise, prioritise and multi-task \xe2\x80\xa2 Good team player, versatile in learning and strong interests in technology \xe2\x80\xa2 Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
