Job Responsibilities:
Install equipment on racks at data centers, including but not limited to servers, network switches, routers and firewalls

Replace parts on existing equipment like server mainboards, CPU, RAM, HDD/SSDs, network linecards/modules, transceivers and cables

Carry out patching of fiber optics and Ethernet cables on rack, ensure all cabling are connected to the correct ports and interfaces

Ensure proper and tidy cable management

Prepare servers for use eg. OS installation, basic network and firewall configuration, application installation etc

Perform operational and maintenance tasks eg. cable tests, power cycling of equipment and setting up of console interfaces for remote access

Perform troubleshooting tasks like ping/traceroute, hardware tests, generation of hardware logs for escalation to equipment vendors

Perform inventory management and ensure that all assets are properly tracked

Enforce and comply with DC processes, access control, rules and regulations

Escort external vendors into premises

Key Requirements:
Diploma in IT or Engineering in related disciplines.

Potential candidates with limited experiences are also welcomed to apply.

Training will be provided for fresh graduates.

Good interpersonal and communications skills to interact effectively at all levels

Familiar with data center environment is a PLUS

Additional Details:
Basic salary up-to $2,500 + $200 Allowances

Working days: Monday to Friday

Working time: 9.00am - 6.30pm

Working Location: One-North / Boon Lay
