RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing Jobs/code for greater scalability, etc.
• Work with stakeholders including the Product owner, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
• Work on message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable \'big data\' data stores
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience, with a focus on building pipelines and configurations
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and able to design various components of data model and data engineering solution
• Strong knowledge and experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, etc.
• Experience in ETL tools (such as Informatica), and data virtualization platforms
• Experience in Data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow, etc.
• Experience in Big Data techniques tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. is advantageous
