In this internship, you will join our dynamic and leading-edge engineering team to build the AI/ML platform for ResMed.
Let's talk about Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams and understand how AI/ML platform are developed and maintained at scale.
- Identify data sources, build scalable data pipelines (using Spark, Airflow, etc) in AWS environment.
- Monitor and improve automated solutions to ensure the required quality and performance are met.
- Maintain and support existing platforms and evolve to newer technology stacks and architectures.Implement, document, and present the solution.
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Computer engineering/Information Systems/Electrical & Electronic Engineering or another quantitative field or equivalent.
Basic competency in python programming skills.
Proficiency in Object-oriented programming.
Proficiency in SQL with related project experience.
Possessing good communication skills.
Keenness to learn and to collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred:
Good understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem, open-source big data tech stacks like Hive, MapReduce, Spark, etc.
Experience with or knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS.
Experience with Data Ingestion, Data Transformation and Data Mining.
Good coding practice (clean, production-grade code, error handling, logging, testing etc.)
Knowledge of Terraform.
